What gutterball said is good advice in #2. As you are doing the multiple choice 1st, Work your way through the questions answering the ones you know and flagging the ones you don't. Once you get to the end go back to the flagged questions eliminate the blatantly obvious wrong answers and take an educated guess on the remaining.

Call all the tests and test equipment by the correct name ie you don't "megger a circuit"
show all your working out. you'll get points even if your final answer is wrong.

heres another really weird one

Describe with the aid of a fully labelled diagram the earth fault loop impedance path for the distribution circuit supplying db2

is this just a throw off question?

how different would it be from this?

Before "isolating the entire installation", see what you are powering down first!

Barrier the work space with adequate H&S approved warning signs, barriers etc.

Visual inspection of the DB/CU before touching it. Warning signs and Information signs are useful???? (wink)

Remove the cover, visual inspection of the switch gear and terminations before you touch it, even with a probe.

Check your test equipment is up to GS38 standards. Probe length, finger guards, leads, casing, calibration ect.

Then test on a known supply or proving unit.

Switch the Iso off, lock off with key in your pocket (or other means of multiple lock off). Hang an "Electrician at work sign" (with your name and mobile number on it if this is a large area).

10 stage test (on a 3ph DB), test the tester again.

Come on lads, I must have missed something? Getting rusty on the C&G questions these days

The path made or followed by the earth fault current is called the earth-fault loop. It is termed impedance because part of the circuit is the transformer or generator winding, which is inductive. This inductance, along with the resistance of the cables to and from the fault, makes up the impedance.

so you will have to show in full with labels the circuit protective conductor (cpc) within the installation, the consumer’s earthing terminal and earthing conductor, the earth return path, which can be either by means of an electrode or via the cable, the path through the earthed neutral point of the transformer and the transformer winding (or generator winding).

Correction: Ignore that last bit, I got confused. The OCPD will still trip in time at the sum of the currents.
