Thought I would get a bit of luck off you electrical gods for my 2395 on Wednesday night, took it once before with the 2394 and failed the 2395 written so I have my resit tommorow night.
Sick of the sight of GN3, she's been my best friend for a few weeks hah! Good luck to any others taking 2394/5 this week!

one question that really got me was something like whats the purpose of the of confirming the volt drop? have to say my brain had nothing for that. left unanswered, 3 marks it was.

Yeah i wasnt 100% sure either. waffled something just for a punt really. I also walked out and all sorts of stuff were going through my head, like the SWA termination inspection. Was it just after about the termination or the glanding? I ended up putting ID of conductors, tightness of terminals, presence of cpc, correct polarity and if the insulation was still intact. Not sure if that was what if it was after.

To ensure compliance with BS 7671 ? Go on to explain what the maximum VD would be .....something along those lines.

If I recall it was to ensure the correct function of equipment under normal service conditions.
