thats your mistake easy9 are nasty acti9 are betterwatchout for the schneider easy9. not enough room above Din rail for RCBOs if you want to dress the cables neatly, but a huge void below.. no room for cable loom coming from below on left, i had 10 T/E cables crammed into a 20mm wide gap between the end MCB and the casing. the RCDs are incomers at bottom instead of the top, and the main switch is arse about face.
Think that's the problem. Unless you buy a fully populated CU from any manufacturer, they cost silly moneyhave you seen the prices? £60 for an empty box. £120 for a RCD.

your right acti9 is merlin gerin and i think easy9 are square d?Well the Acti9 range are the old MG distribution boards rather than consumer units so you would expect them to be rather more costly

there mcbs are arund £15 each
£70 in BQ's.going to try one of these on my ist amd3 board. have used the BG plastic boards as standard and had no problems. £90 inc.vat is nottoo bad.
