Had probs with van and had to be dropped off at a job where customer supplies all parts ! eg new socket face plates & switches inc new back boxs as old were surface mounted boxs ! arrived with tools and thats when the bad day started ! yer she got the nice new face plates and when she showed me the 47s dammmmmmmmmmm im sinking them things in engineering ! all i had was a scruch & lump with me ! by the time i left when my lift arrived my hands were dragging alond the floor like a gorilla ! best bit is my vans full of 16s & 25s ! :freak:

anyone else had a bad day lately ?

Have to admit each one felt like chopping a brick out and replacing it with another one ! mind u that would have prob been better chop the bricks out take them outside and angle grind them out then install the thing back in complete with the 47 in !

why didn't you draw a line around a box at 25mm use it as a template and when you could just fit standard boxes, the cost isn't high if you didn't charge her for them and you'd have done the job in half the time?

You think that was bad?try this, ? woke up sunday in the early hours in a soaking wet bed,a temp of about 104 and having some kind of fit,not to mention looking like elephant man!The cause of all this trauma? an infection in my gum caused by holding a screwdriver in my mouth at work on Thursday, yes we,ve all done it,so here I am lying in bed with a load of pills and feeling very fed up,bring on the 47mm back boxes.Remember dont hold screwdrivers in your mouth done it for years and now this, you,ve been warned.

Had to get job done that day as too much going on to fit in before her plasterer turned up.
