Hi all

Iv got a elderly custumer that wants to replace their storage heaters and im thinking of replacing them with rointe kryos heaters.

my question is, the storage heaters are fed via a eccomony 7 meter,so if I put my new rointe heaters in they wont be able to be used during the day.

if they contact theyre supplier will they change the meter/trariff soit can be used in the day a meter feeding two boards or will I simpley have to put in a henley block to feed the heater board aswell as the main board?

thanks

Re: 7 economey?

If you/ the customer no longer need off peak ( what about o/n water heating?) then the supplier should be asked to change the meter to a standard tariff. On E7 they would otherwise be paying more for their day rate, with no off peak benefit.

Re: 7 economey?

Why don't you suggest a storage heater with a 24h boost facility, or maybe suggest that they contact there supplier for a modern e7 or e10( think its n power)

Iv got the rointes at home and really like them with auto setting so they kick in and out to keep the room/rooms at certain temp tbh. Not got any experience with the economy 7/tarrif side as always had gas myself until this place which is a key meter!

But yeah ill try to get them to speak to their supplier about a possible economy 10 if it's possible with who ever there with!
