Has anyone worked with these fans before? They have 7inch by 7inch hole to fit.

I need something can replace this fan with that will fit the existing hole and then go out onto a 4inch duct .

Can’t find anything anywhere!

Unfortunately these are currently fitting into a plastic ceiling in 2 bathrooms hence the reason for something to refit the existing holes as patching is a no no..

Its probably a 6 inch (150mm) fan in an oversized hole?

Not so sure its a good idea to reduce ducting size though, a 6inch fan must have been fitted for a reason?

Thanks for the reply.

That’s the weird part this unit itself actually has an outlet of a 4inch duct. I don’t have any pictures of it from in the loft space .

Never came across anything like it before which is probably why I’m struggling to find anything like it now lol.

The picture below shows the grill hanging for the unit so it does actually fit to that hole.

It's a centrifugal fan, best to remove it from the ceiling and see the hole your left with and go from there
Thanks for your reply.

The unit itself is mounted above the ceiling. Leaving the grill to cover , which shows me a hole of 7” by 7” which needs to be filled from a new fan.
