7kw or 9 kw kiln on a 60 amp old house supply

Hi
I'm buying a new kiln and wonder which is best on a 60 amp supply in an old house. I have a choice of 7 kw or 9 kw. Will the 9 kw Trip if I run the shower at the same time? Have been advised to install a 50w breaker for the 9 kw.

Yes the shed is down the garden. DH says the wiring going to the shed is 16 core. I've attached photos of the fuse board and breaker.
Central heating is oil so just a pump circulating the hot water.

16 core? That sounds unlikely.
Have you considered an oil fired kiln?
