Good or bad is subjective and is in the eye of the beholder, I would personally never get bored of it. I agree a lot of art has zero appeal to me but again this is subjective, to me David Hockneys work stands on its own level and is unique as is the artist.
No you wouldn’t, you’d buy lots of shoes - admit it!Probably the most influential artist to come from this country, to me it is a great piece of work and the cost of something is only relative. If I had the money would I, yes.
Well yes this is my primary weaknessNo you wouldn’t, you’d buy lots of shoes - admit it!
That picture took a lot of skill and time to produce, not to your taste but nevertheless.I also like some art, but it's the silly money for something that hasn't taken much skill to produce. I think one 'masterpiece' is a black square on a red background. Or was it the other way round. Anyway, it sold for millions. Now a proper artist would work hard and use a lot of skill to produce a good picture. David Shepherd springs to mind.
See #5so can some kind soul post a link to this picture, so we can dee what all the fuss is about.

He started by buying from the wholesaler and selling stuff on, he also made set top boxes for SKY when they entered the market and did basically bring the PC to the masses, it may be tat but he stuck his neck out and took a risk/punt. I have a lot of respect for he achieved, anyone can do it if they have that focus and determination to succeed.alan sugar made his money by selling crap audio gear (amstrad) to unsuspecting public. same with dyson. good marketing beats decent products all day long.
