Iirc a litre of 4* was about 0.65p when I first passed my test

55p for me I think,used to borrow a tenner of me mum every Sunday to fill the car up for the week and get 10 bensons
Paid agian on the Thursday, cash!, skint by Saturday morning ha ha good times!

Another one just bought a '91 Toyota Corolla GTI. He hadn't the money for a Twin Cam.

A mate of mine is after buying a 1993 Ford Orion.

Be lucky to find an Orion that she not rusted to buggery I think......my favourite motor from that time was a 1.9 205 gti! Proper diving that was!
