Funny little half-moon bakelite box hidden behind this wall. Quaint, wonder what the thinking was for those. Have not come across them before.

Nice...it looks as if it's meant to fix hard up into a corner, say on a wall up to the ceiling. Similar to a tangent T conduit box.

I'm a bit disappointed it went in the rubbish. Bother. Should have kept hold of it. I wasn't expecting an exciting time discussing 1940's junction boxes.

There must be someone on the forum retro fitting a 1940"s electrical installation to their house, as the saying goes where theres muck theres brass.......
