a bit of explaination please

Hi, not a pv installer but was woundering how the fits people stop someone having some pv installed and then connecting up a gen set and getting paid for producing power with diesel? I am on another forum and no one seemed to have an answer

If I understand this correctly you mean fiddling the generation meter by feeding it with a diesel generator? Nothing to stop you if you're that sort of crook. Doubt the cost of diesel would make it worthwhile though...

SAP calc on MCS certificate gives a good idea of expected annual generation, anything much more than this and they will be suscpicious

I was not planning on doing it, as i can't have panels even if i had the money to get them installed, it was just part of a discusion on another forum.

So the bottom line is that recorded output must be close to the projected output, if its not you will get a visit.
