Yes, I remember doing the Saturn 5 - it was big, nearly 3ft AFAIR, and broke down into the separate rocket stages.

And the lunar module - really fragile legs but very cool. Even separated into the two stages.

Yes, I used to get in a right old mess with the glue. When I finished the model ended up one big mess, straight in the bin.!! lol
Yeah, I saw that. Got the impression that the business is really struggling. Most of the guys that buy the stuff are now well over 50. Really sad though cos as a kid you did learn some useful skills like following incomprehensible instructions and diagrams. Real preparation for Ikea flat packsWatching James may on tv last week... it was an accident, honest.
Turns out Hornby trains, air fix and scaletrix are all the same company now.
