a few questions......

BOROROBBO

hello all. i have a few questions which i am hoping i could get some help with.

first of all i am employed at the moment doing 39 hours through the week but would like to earn some extra cash on a weekend.

to do this work i guess all i would need is my part p as i dont HAVE to be registered with NIC or ELECSA etc to do my work?

another question is where would i aquire blank test sheets for this work. i have heard that the NIC do a green test sheet for people who aren't registered.... is this true and could anyone guide me to it?

the third thing is although i am doing work by myself im not self employed as stated above i am in full time employment so how would i give the tax man his dues from what i earn?

any help with these questions would be greatly appreciated as always and i hope they are not "stupid" questions.

Thanks again

Andrew :)

so are you saying i can certify my own work without the need for joing a part p scheme like napit or elecsa? I can simply do the job and complete an IET published form instead?? Im waisting my moeny sending them to a nic eic friend to counter sign.

Your friend is breaking his scheme conditions anyway, so you're certainly wasting your money, you can notify your work but you will have to pay LABC fees and that's when the scheme memberships look good value!

You need to read Document P and learn a bit more about the whole process.
