hi all, i am new to this forum and need a little information please.
my background is that i am a apprentice trained maintenance mechanic and have worked as one for the last 30 years. 3 years ago i had been made redundant so did the 16th edition elect regs and a electricial conversion course for a fitter, i then managed to get a job which was mainly mechanical but did involve
a certain amount of electrical [not a huge amount].
i have now found myself out of work again and i have now completed the following courses,
1 2382-100 level 3 17th edition electrical regs
2 2392-10 fundamentals of inspection, testing and initial verification.
3 portable appliance testing.[ pat ] being done next week.
i am now looking to do the 2391 inspection and testing so my question is
if i can complete the 2391 do i need to concider the part p course or are there any other
things i need to concider and i am trying to decide on the route i want to take in my next job
any thoughts would be appreciated,
ps. i worked as part of a team for 16 years, [ myself and a qualified electrician]
thanks
