Hi All. I have just installed a Logic Six alarm panel to an existing alarm set up. Also I fitted a new Honeywell AG6 External sounder & strobe box. The system works ok apart from when the system has been set the external sounder sounds for about 3/4 secs, very annoying for the neighbours. Watching the panel when being set it goes through the start up with each led lighting as it counts down then sets with no zones being triggered, just the sound sounding for the 3/4 secs.

Please Help. Any Ideas ???

There is no programming features on logic 6 entry/exit timing, part arm etc are all done from dip switches. Check wiring to bell box...and check there are no cables in set +...

No expert on alarms but it does sound like some sort of factory test mode maybe. Daz

Have you got the strobe and sounder connections crossed not familiar with your panel but some panels flash the strobe to indicate system set
