Admin fee!!

Right im fed to the death of certain places that just wont pay there bill until i send reminder notices!!

how legally bounding is an ADMIN FEE on reminder notices!! (like say £1.50 to cover cost of paper stamp and me walking to post box!)


its always BLOODY Charity's that take the ****!!!

Not 100% sure but legality. But i've been advised to issue term and conditions with quote and get them to sign to say that they agree with your terms.

Then in your terms detail payment details and what will happen if payment not received.

Would charge at least £20.00 for a letter.

oh im not bothered about making money from charges but i have had a few PAT jobs were i invoice on 7 day invoices and they have failed to produce the money!!

i just want to recover my costs from sending them flaming letters!! i try to deal 100% via email PDF etc but some situations dont allow and its costing me money!

If its costing you money, then thats no good.

You trusted them to pay within the time, they didnt.

Chase them! or they will drag it out.

Have you given them the Report of the Test details yet?

Unfortunately some establishments will stick to their terms and conditions which regularly state 30 days. ~ accounts department members are detached from the projects team (and the real world/life/emotions)*

yeah i gave them details of the tests with the invoice as they had a fire inspection 2 days later!!

its only £30 as i billed the building individually as per request, PLAYGROUP £14.00, ARTS GROUP £17.00, and BUILDING MANAGER the others payed up with a little nudge but the building manager not yet!

frustrating!!! not as bad when i was chasing a big firm for 600quid for Pat testing!!
