Some help please, im leaving the Marines after many years to start a new career hopefully as an electrician.
To become an electrician I believe the best way to go about this is;
C&G Level 2 course + Experience
Level 3 course + More experence spending many years to learn my trade, as you do.
is it?
However, as i have done my time in the military I receive money to fund courses but only at a level 3, after some research I have found a combined 2365 level 2 & 3 course ARENA training. This course lasts 13 weeks and will give you all the information and training (so they say). You then hopefully gain a job as an elec mate and start over time, gaining experience and covering assesments that will pass this qual.
I would like to take my time doing level 2 and gain experience along the way, but would have to fund this course myself before funding will pay for my level 3. Has anyone taken a dual course like this before?
How would an employer looking to take someone on look at this?
Cheers
