Done my Level3 cg2330 so good understanding of installation and test, but just want to make sure I am doing everything correctly. Involves straightforward disconnection and new reconnection of electric cooker, just minor works hopefully. Will check max demand(diversity) and correction factors for present wiring, but should I be doing any testing on circuit before/after installation. Any advice very grateful.

To be honest you don't need to issue any certification if it's disconnecting an existing cooker and fitting a new. Obviously you are going to have to make sure the load of the new one is compatible for the circuit.

I always issued a MEIWC for this type of work, I just thought it look much more professional, and the time it takes to just do an IR Zs and RCD test it wasn't too much hassle. Also it gave the client peace of mind that you know what your doing, and a reference for them to use you again.
