Hi to all,
First of all let me say I am not an electrician and the following questions are for my own knowledge only and I will hire an electrician to do and sign everything. That being said, situation is like this. I have a garage which is part of the house (not detached). That garage will be used for a workshop. I will have there a CNC mill, CNC laser, various woodworking machinery (bandsaw, table saw, router table) and other hand tools. All equipment is 230V.
At this point the garage has 2 sockets (1 single and 1 double), from the double socket a wire (2 core) is going the power up the single socket (it is used for fridge). There is also a neon ceiling light.
The amps for everything (equipment) will around 45, but I will not use all at the same time.
The CNC mill itself will draw like 36 amps (mill plus 2 compressors and VFD) and all of this will work almost at the same time.
The photo is the actual consumer unit on the property.
What do I need to ask the electrician to have all working (again not all at the same time) safely?
Roughly how much this will cost?
Thank you
Gabi
