Has anyone any experiences of DNOs and the 4kw cut off for the 43.3p FIT? Doing a system in Herts and want to use our 225w panel, we want an even amount on each row (x2) but at 16 it equals 3.6kW and 18 equals 4.05kW.

Question is, would I be able to fit 18 panels and claim the 43.3p FIT if I use an inverter with an AC max less than 4000w i.e. use a Diehl 3800?

Astro, have a qwuick look around this forum and you will find many threads asnwering your question in great detail.

Check out Total Installed Capacity, which is what the FiT is about.

Turns out there is an Ofgem memo sent to ALL DNO's about this recently it says exactly what I've said elsewhere - I'm trying to get my hands on it .....
