Need some advice on gaining NVQ 3 i will be finishing my level 2 2330 in the next couple of mouths but because of the 2330 ending and the government withdrawing funding for adult students (course fees gone forum £1200 to £4000) i can’t do level 3.
I asked my college about me doing the NVQ3 and they said you can’t do the NVQ3 without 2330 level3. Does anyone know if there is any way i can get my NVQ3 without doing 2330 level 3

my level 3 course is ÂŁ900. i paid ÂŁ500 per year for my level 2. and some got it free. i was told that the level 3 is always more expensive because level 3 qualifications dont receive funding and everybody pays even those who got level 2 free.
did you get level 2 free?
ÂŁ4000 is a bit over the top is that what your college is charging. private training providers do the course for about ÂŁ3000
cheers

Not sure if it's what you're asking but Apprentices get them for free.

Ok im confused a bit here im 27 and i started my 2330 L2 last september at my local college and because i was unemployed i only had to pay a $15 Donation to the College instead of the $1050 course fee .so does that mean that i have to pay the full fee for the L3 ?

best thing to do is book to see someone at student services as unemployment has different funding options about.

hi sonnyjim, i rang around a few colleges up here today and all appear to be doing the level 3 2330 for normal price. so i think you should ring around a few colleges where you live to see if it is the same.
let me know how you get on.
cheers

HI
Also if you don't sit the 17th edition the JIB WILL REFUSE TO RE-NEW YOUR JIB CARD UNTIL YOU TAKE IT.

I think this is wrong.
