No wonder the lad is not happy, what a poor start for the lad............:love:
:rofl: He did alright out of it. Got him his first set of VDE screwdrivers, work pants + knee pads and other stuff (cant remember). Good lad with a bright future, wish him all the best.
Sharpey and level... Loved that level. My boss was using it along with my jab saw which happened to get left behind at a kitchen convertion. I always kept in the seathe so I could see I have it.
Still have the Sharpey somewhere though, bottom of my toolbag no doubt :lol:
I remember that... First day I raided the household tool box and got a range of screwdrivers, ballpeen hammer and a ****ty Stanley knife :lol: had it In a little green doctors bag inside a gym bag... Paul just looked at it like "what. The f are those? Don't you have proper tools" :lol:

Basically been told to try clear the air, grit my teeth and look for a job in the meantime. Said it's easier to get a job when you have a job and see how it goes so just need to keep an eye out for other apprenticeships around my area.
Had a word with the brother. There's an apprenticeship going at his work. Decent pay, 37.5hours/week working away on week days all expenses paid.
He's going to have a word with them tomorrow and get me their number. Fingers crossed
