hey all

ive just completed my level 3 2330, with part p, 17 regs, 2392, and pat t.

im looking to get a job, which i know is hard the moment to complete my am2. i keep hearing about changes to it and i was wondering what these are and the best route to take about completing it.

finally im looking to get an ecs card and ive been on the site and i fall between two different types. if anyone could help out here it would be much appreciated.

thanks matt

to get electrician or approved electrician will you need nvq3
a temp grading can be given if you have am2

am2 will be rolled into 2330 and become new qualifications but you will be able to do am2 on its own for a while yet.

advice: get am2 and nvq3 asap

so which is the best route to go about getting it at the moment.

do both at same time if your confident.
book am2 with local provider around £500ish

nvq3 costs can vary wildly from £500-£1500 and you need to be working in trade to provide digital evidence, witness statements etc...

if your not working in trade yet do am2 and get registered for nvq as you have 2 years to complete from registration
