I've just fitted some (Wylex) AFDD/RCBO's for the first time, what goes in the box on the cert regarding the BSEN number, 62606 is for AFDD's and 61009 is for RCBO's. which one is for both?

As a side note can I just say how crazy it is to have a red light showing that everything is ok when right next to them there is an SPD that has red showing for when everything is not ok. They must know how uninterested the customer is when you try to explain how everything works, this will only complicate matters exponentially, expect plenty of phone calls after fitting these asking why everything is red.

There is no column on the current model forms appendix 6 to list AFDD.

These combined devices are tested to both BS EN 62606 AND to BS EN 61009 so you would record the BS EN reference for the protection tested against in the column for which such protective detail is requested. In this case record the BS EN 61009.

However, there is nothing stopping you from recording as 61009/62606 or noting in some other way.
To do so would be considered best practice - Reason: The EIC will form part of an inspectors reference paperwork on future periodic inspections and a record of the installation as designed and installed should be available.
