Deal.
I'll PM you details when i get home
I'll get it fired up later to make sure it still works, I think I've left the WiFi channel open so it's easy to connect to first time round.

if the OP is not interested, i will happily take it off your hands, just pm me bank or paypal details and i will sort it later.

When I moved last year the broadband was only copper to the cabinet and a really slow service. I got a 4G data SIM from 3 and tried that but it was really slow. Then I tried one with EE and it was really good. 3 let me cancel the contract as they admitted their 4G network was over-subscribed in my postcode and they didn't yet have 5G so what I'm saying is that if you try one network and it isn't great, try another. Might even be worth doing PAYG until you find what you want.
I now have better broadband speeds in the house as they upgraded to fibre to the cabinet but I still have the EE unlimited data sim for when I'm on site. It's £26/month I think.

Update:
I got the mobile router from Strima, cheers for that.

As for a service, I looked into my bt account. Their Black Friday deal, I got their new Halo service for 10 quid less than I’m paying now, and took out a data only sim for £14.00 for 3Gb a month. The offer was I get a fiver off for being an existing customer. Brings it down to £9 now... still less than what I was paying.
And being a Halo customer, I get double data. 6Gb a month.
Also free Britbox for 6 months. Must remember to cancel that. Pointless as I can’t watch it on TV. Can’t use it on our Sony smart tv, skyQ or through the Xbox.

I’m sitting in van now using mobile

I’ll keep a track of usage this month before we go to the lodge again, but I’ll need to stop the girls watching YouTube so much.

You may be able to use Britbox with Chromecast. We use a Chromecast on 3 of our TVs and it works really well. Most streaming services support it now, and it doesn't matter whether your smart TV has the apps built in or not.
