Hello,
Just joined today and already made good use of the resources so thought I had better say hello.

Time served in electrical and mechanical maintenance, moved into electrical and mech product design, no longer in the rat race and doing some consultancy work but picking up some domestic electrical work in my home area to fill the gaps.

Got my 18th edition done last year to get me up to speed with the regs. Enjoying it so far, plenty of work around fixing bodge jobs in the area!

I must admit I'm finding some Youtube channels a good brush up!

If you ever tried to make one , you quickly realise they are an optimistic best case outcome , (or the recording gets scrubbed)
...I followed one changing a Lock pin ...
Mine of course was Rusted solid (after buying cheap plastic bits) Not in any way as easy as shown (in a % of cases=Sods law). Similar with Haynes and a 10 yr old car.
