You may have read elsewhere that I managed to break the hand pump for my inflatable awning for my caravan, so I’m currently looking for an electric equivalent.

However, im looking to see if I can find a pump that will do the awning (low pressure) and double up as an emergency tyre inflater (high pressure)

Seen a few on Amazon that range in price.
Would like battery, either rechargeable, or compatible with dewalt battery’s… hopefully the older style… as I use an old style drill to wind down the corner steadies.

What’s your recommendations, forum?

I researched this a while back and nearly bought a DeWalt pump as it had both high and low pressure capability and ran off battery, 12v or mains with an adaptor. However I didn't buy it because I got a great foot pump for my inflatable dinghy which only needs man-power and my Ring car tyre pump does that job brilliantly.

Thanks, P.

I’m trying to make my Caravanning holidays less stressful as well as less physical…. It’s the hand pump that came with the awning, and honestly thought it would be up to the job.

I’ve seen some cheap things on Amazon, and I’ll have a look at our local outdoor leisure shop and see what they’ve got.

I carry a tyre compressor in the car, but again, it’s the manufacturer supplied one that comes with the puncture repair foam…

Won’t be needing it until next Easter… so I’ve got time to look
