I akm always suspicious of tools from these places but if lots on here say its good...i will go with that............draw the line with drills jigsaws grinders etc......some of it makes power devil look like milwaukee.............

That's just a way to make a list to print out to take to the store to help you deal with the overwhelming number of excellent products they have (to paraphrase the website!) - there's no online shopping at Aldi (how would they throw the goods at you as they scan them?!)

I looked at just buying the base kit (no batteries or charger) as I still have the 10.8V batteries and charger from my multitool (which I must get around to sorting!!).

That is what I did, got it from the southern tool fair.

Yeah but if you needed it then and it saved you money.......

Already it has saved me a hell of a lot of time on jobs.
Most useful was the other week when turning the van crank with a spanner lying underneath and looking at the camera to see the top dead centre marking on the flywheel through hole on gearbox!!

I've just been and bought one, nice piece of kit for the money. Camera's fine, display reasonably good. Bright LEDs for illumination. The hook, double hook, mirror and magnet attachments look a little flimsy, time will tell.

I'd been after one for a while, cheers Pushrod! :)

By the time i got there they were sold out! There's always next time lol - then you can tell me if it lasted ;)

I gotta tell ya these are also great when you drop a tool down a blooming cavity etc ive used mine with the magnet attachment on to retrieve my screwdriver before and if it aint long enough you can use a magnet in string or a 2.5 single etc. chaps if they have run out and you need one asap you can always check out the maplin ones.
