Hi everyone,
Yesterday my sister switched on the bedroom light and all the lights o the top floor went out! there are six lights in total and none of them work at the moment. The lights on the bottom floor work and all the plug sockets on both floor's work fine too.
I know next to nothing about electrics so am at a loss what to do! I changed the bulb of the bedroom light to see if that made a difference but no luck.
I dont know if there is an easy fix I can do myself or if I should call the electrician?
Thank you for your help in advance!

Has it tripped a circuit breaker?

Hi mate.
As above. See if it has tripped a circuit breaker in her consumer unit.

I am surprised no one has asked for photos of said sister, might get a repair for free.......

I'll wear a boob tube and mini skirt if you do work for free....

"It works" and "it's safe" are not necessarily the same thing. With DIY work, they are often far from the same thing.
