Am i missing something?!

Just finished level 2 of my 2330 qualification. Looking at the notes for level 3 it looks like it is mainly just repetition of level 2 stuff in a bit more detail?!

This makes life a whole lot easier because i learnt it in loads of detail when i was doing it for the level 2.

In fact, even in level 2 itself it seems they do repeat a hell of a lot of stuff. I reckon you could just write a 100 page book with all you actually need to know for level 2 and 3! (I think it's called the on-site guide! - that's everything you ACTUALLY need to know in the real world....)

If you think that what you learn in college will teach you everything you need to know about electrics then i'm afraid your in for a bit of a shock!!!

I agree with Richard. You learn more in the year post qualification that you ever did as an apprentice but the learning is ongoing and will be for your whole life if you want to keep up with new regs,technologies etc

level 3 goes into a lot more depth with 3ph, motors, pf correction, testing and basic design.
