hi guys,
just after some advice pls, regarding joining a part p scheme. iv finished my level 2 2330, just started level 3, got my 17th edition cert. i have been working under an experianced spark for around a year now amd before that about 6 months as a mate doing social housing rewires (hope i never have to do them again). Im very confident in my work and take pride in it.
my boss is light on work so for the meantime i have no work at all. iv made a few calls and have some posibilities of doing some jobs for a local kitchen fitter but obviously everything would need to be signed off. any views on weather people think its too early for me to be entering a scheme or suggestions on different routes would be appreciated.
just really want some opinions from guys more experianced than me who have been around the block, as the cost of doing all this is pretty high.
thanks for reading and any comments much appreciated

Lol cheers, yeh think i should be fine, probs brush up on some questions before, if i fail i probably shouldnt be doing it anyway lol.
Whats the score with this "defined scope" part p for kitchen/bathroom fitters? Does this mean they can rewire their own kitchens? So then surely that should also cover them to changes cu's as the kitchens i do 99% have a new board.

Yeh im suprised more dont fail simply as a way of making money.
Total membership is around 444. If you fail then its about 360 for another inspection. I think its a cheeky way of doing it, because if you fail and decide not to join then you only get 84 quid back, but if you book again your total membership has cost you over 800 quid. I supose they are thinking long term and want everyone to renew year on year

are you ready for part P scam membership,?
do you have enough money to pay them?
the answer to the above 2 questions should be the same.

are you ready to go out on your own and work unsupervised?
have you done a proper apprenticeship with some years post apprenticeship experience under supervision?
the answer to the above 2 questions should be the same.
