AM2 Online Exam. Anyone know how many questions are picked for each section?

hi people.

I'm looking at taking the AM2 exam. I'm currently studying for it but i notice the Online exam is made up of different sections.

e.g
Health Safety
Installation techniques
building regulations
etc


in my mind, it would make more sense for me to spend time studying the sections that have the most amount of questions asigned to it.
so if Environmental Systems only makes up 3 questions of the total, and building Regulations makes up 10 questions, it may make sense for me to really concentrate on the Building Regulations.

does anyone know the amount of questions for each section?

It consists of a total 40 questions and you shouldn't require any revision what so ever, its the easiest part! To be fair you can really revise or study for the AM2 its literally down to your efficiency and experience with different wiring techniques. Good luck and I recommend taking the pre AM2 course first.

thanks for the reply. knowing that its meant to be easyr makes me more confident but i still prefer to do a little revision.
is it possible to know how many questions get asked for each question though?
e.g

Health & Safety - 4 Questions
Hand tool & Test equipment use & care - 2 Questions
bs7671 part 1 - 7 Questions

Hi John you have probably passed by now seeing as its jan 2013 but iv just passed my AM2 and the online exam is quite hard, you get givin all the books such as regs onsite guide etc so it's just knowing where to look. In my exam I have about 6 just on part p alone and about 6 on health and safety so I think it varies to different candidates. Hope this helps
