No here we go again about it. Are you happy there are contractors near you undercutting your prices and doing sub standard work and nothing being done about it either now or in the future

I was in the wholesalers today and chatting to a spark. He was telling me about some problems he has found in a house. He said the house had had an EICR done for £75.
Thinking he was doing remedials, I said that what some sparks do is a cheap EICR and then take the homeowners pants down on the remedials. The spark then said 'on no its £75 for a PASS EICR', apparently the 'spark' who does the EICRs never fails one! WTF

Who is their right mind would do an EICR for £75 in the first place?? Maybe for a shoe box with 2 circuits!
