I thought the OP was referring to additional form filling - more like the EIC or EICR for minor works ?
As far as I am aware, the notes for the EIC, still state that the form is not to be used for the inspection and testing of existing installations, or something similar.
As such, using an EIC to inspect or test any of the existing installation, would be a non-compliance.
Only the NICEIC would advise their members to do something that contravenes the standards we are supposed to be working to.
Anyone know where I can download some BS7671 Visual Inspection forms?

Ah I see what you were getting at now, lol. I assumed you meant the new inspection schedules and I posted in all innocence. I had forgotten those invented documents even existed.
I think the NIC brought them out as a special request from british gas :lol:
