Is that conveniently label in pic 11 hiding any bypass links by any chance?

Strangely enough no but that's probably why they got caught and had the house repossessed lol

The terminations on those sockets in a line were so loose I almost pulled them out without turning the screw. I'm sure I heard the socket "gasp a sigh of relief" when I threw it across the room lol Poor things must have been on flat out 24/7.

Is that last point in pic 4 a spur off a spur by any chance....i know it seems like trivia compared to all the other crap in there..........

All of those sockets on the same wall were still on the ring however there was a spur from the first socket going right across the room, down the wall into the dining room.

I've been testing and fault finding ALL day today just to be sure that when it comes to fitting and testing the new board I'm not in for any nasty surprises.

:thumbsup

Well you can (usually) spot whats what cant you............theres certain things that i dont think even a crap sparks would do theres usually clues as to the grade/competency of the "installer"...like how many ales he was stood before hand down`t bar....lo..............:vanish:

Like spurs taken from the ring main using 1.5mm cable to FCU's with 13amp fuses fitted to power down lighters and security lights. No surprise that both the bulbs in the security lights appear to be blown as were 3 lamps out of four on the down lighters.

The installation itself seems to be pretty good other than the bits that you can just tell have been added on and decorative CRAP fitted in place of standard items. :(

And people moan about part p.............
