Yep, I'm sure these drug growers/dealers would have done things differently had they have known about Part P lol

Sounds like you have your work cut out for you ;)

I look forward to seeing some pictures. There's two ways of uploading:thumbsup

You get the pictures and we'll talk you through how to post them on the forum, good luck tomorrow :)

Nice one short . thanks mate you will laugh when you see them.....the thing is it had old type lamp ceiling roses which explaines the joint boxes....but its the amount (and the state of em)....me and my boss had a chuckle over em after we had the go-ahead from the client to renew it all.....we`l do it 3 plate....just got some of them honey roast peanuts and cashews on the go.....mnnmmm...lovely........

Here we go again, fault finding turned up quite a find. Located behind the dishwasher and plastered into the wall. Someone had fired a tck straight between the live conductor and cpc. Crap photos I'm afraid.

Yes this is the same property that was missing the 16" of cable that would have completed the 32A protected ring.

Ohhh!!! ......... would you like a fresh saucer of milk with that ??? ;)

Just yesterday I was asked by my neighbour to go to his rental property, where a UK DIY chain are fitting a new kitchen including the electrics.

The installer has said he wouldn't fit a socket within the range of about 1.2 m of the sink on the basis that somebody could have one hand in the sink and the other hand plugging in the kettle.

What tosh!!
