Analogue volt meter is wot I'm after a good quality one , anyone with any experience with ? Im After any advice possible please

Just looking for an instrument for my own peace Of mind when it comes to testing/checking inductive voltages wot instruments do you use ?

Yes I like analogue meters, nice to see a needle that's what I was brought up on!! lol

PLEASE do NOT mention needles!!

I have a phobia about them - like some folks have about spiders etc. - and just this week I have been to have two blood tests.

But the Analogue meter like this Avo one we're discussing is like what I used in the 60's / early 70's

We made Scientific Instruments which included things like Chart Recorders where an inky needle would record info like a graph onto a roll of paper (British Standard Bog Roll width) passing under it and lots of similar stuff.

Many things we made I hadn't a clue what they were going to be used for as the legends which I engraved on the dials etc were in foreign languages like Spanish !!!

haha. i have refused blood tests myself. bloody trainee nurses not practising on me, mate.

i'd rather face a rabid rottweiler. i hate them needles , not so much a quick injection, but when untrained nurses stab you 6-7- times trying to find a vein. and don't mention catheters inserted wrongly so you can't pee.

Catheters are a delight yet to be enjoyed for me.

Found out t'other day that No 1 bent "son" has to go to horsepickle to have a camera inserted you know where.

I hope it's got a nice big tele-lens on it and on its tripod with the legs fully extended .......

And there would still be enough room to wind wool!!! ...........:-------:
