My son, also a spark, was asked by one of the girls in the office to check her electric shower - had been working intermittently.
He turns up at the flat, checks the circuit breaker (all ok), checks the pull cord switch (again ok) and turns his attention to the shower unit itself.
He takes out the cover screws, starts to take the cover off, and.....:dead:
a bleedin' snake hisses and strikes out!!!!!!!!! He falls into the bath whilst trying to make a getaway. The couple don't have snakes as pets, and this one is bloomin angry. Cuting a londg story short, the SSPCA who came the following day advisd that it was corn snake, probably someones pet and it had some injury from bein in the shower. Apparantly, these things can live to 25 years and grow to between 3-5 ft long!
The photo is not that clear (did not like getting it's photo taken, but its the brown shape at the top of the shower. He will now forever be known as Hissin' Sid.
