I don't know, you've get to have some compassion for these poor boys. They were probably deprived of train sets (or the modern equivalent PS4) when they were very young. Teacher probably looked at them funny one day. Weren't allowed to watch Jeremy Kyle show all day long. Had the trauma of being 'arrested' by police, when they committed their first offence, normally shoplifting. When they failed to turn up to do community service, courts said 'Argh well, don't bother if you too tired'.
Of course, they were completely unaware of what they were doing to the dog, because they were under the influence of drugs. But I bet they're really full of remorseful, now they've been banned from keeping animals for 5 years. A bit harsh.
