Well found out yesterday that after first fixing a kitchen I had drilled through into next door for the rawl plugs. When the drill just sank into the wall thought i'd gone into the cavity, turns out its a single skin wall.

how hard is it to put a bit of tape on drill bits so you don't over do it?

you can even buy drills with adjustable depth gauges. never use 'em though coz. they're marked in bloody milli thingies.

Haven’t actually done this myself. Just wanted to see if anyone else would own up to doing it.
However, Amp David’s post has reminded me of a time when I was working in a boiler house at a golf club. Fixed a length of steel trunking onto a concrete wall. Got a bit of a telling off the following day from the gaffer. Turns out the wall was only about 2 inches thick and my drill bit 4 inches. Knocked all the tiles off in the female toilet where the drill bit came through.

nice, i picked up the rat5 from the gadgetshow last year and its been good since. i dont regret going back to wired one bit

Yea same here ,Did want a Wireless at first but my Mouse has a decent length of Cable on it so im happy with it.
