Elderly American tourist arrives in France, French immigration officer ask "Passport Sir" Elderly American gent spends 5 minutes fumbling around trying to find his passport, which he does, and presents it to the French Officer. French officer is put out cos the bloke took a while to find it, so he confronts the elderly gent, and asks "Sir have you visited france before", "Yes" replies the elderly gent, "Then you know how busy we are at immigration, this is why we ask you to have your documents ready", The american gent replies "Sir, the last time i visited France was in the 40's, i came by boat from England, landed on a beach, and there was no one there to greet me, let alone ask me for my passport.
