What code would you suggest for uncovering a power circuit wired in copper cable less than the csa stated in table 52.3 provided the ccc of that cable wasnt effected.

Can you give a bit more info.

What is the load? What is the Size of conductor?

Ring? Radial?

Rfc partially wired in 1.0mm about 15 sockets cpd 16a 3871

If it’s just between 2 sockets I would disconnect it then no code as it’s on a 16a Mcb’s. if it’s more then C2

C2 if no signs of thermal damage etc. A couple of regs broken there but I don’t have my book to hand as I’m on holiday.

My first instinct was a c2, but can anyone give any solid reasoning why it would be considered potentially dangerous?

Conductors of that csa are inadequate for the purpose of a power circuit. I would personally C2 it for that reason.

If you are struggling with coding condition reports Napit do a really good book, icebreakers but there's a good rule to follow for general guidance.
If your fault situation breaches basic protection then it's a C1, if it breaches fault protection it's a C2.
