Today I was sent home two days early after completing and passing my Domestic Installer final assessment :D

Very happy now :1eye:

Thanks guys, I'm really happy at the moment and you're definitely right Murdoch.... Now is when the real learning starts :D

I think as I have heard so many positive comments about elecsa they will be the one that I choose to register with :)

i would have asked to stay for the other 2 days to have some hands on experience in the bays!!

Ha ha, tempting but I received a call from an electrician I do some work for and he wanted me to go on a job for him. Unfortunately he was unaware that I was away for my assessment at that time. When I finished early I contacted him to let him know and I started the job for him this morning :)

The job involves moving, deleting and adding some sockets in the kitchen of a bungalow that is having a refit. It's a disabled adaption so any sockets that can be left still have to be moved down to make them more accessible.

:thumbsup

move the sockets down for more accesability hell how high were they im asume its light switches you mean sockets up lights switches down lol sorry being picky :grinningelf: nice one that you have some work mate

Kitchen sockets above the worktop;)

It's a disabled adaption which means that all the worktops have to be dropped and have no units beneath for wheelchair access. Because the worktops are being dropped the sockets also have to be so that they are accessible from a wheelchair.

Not so long ago I was working on another disabled adaption where I had to fit a "Rise and Fall" worktop. That was an interesting one as I had never heard of such a thing before. It was goode experience though :D

Who did you do your course with mate and would you advise using them to anyone else? May i also ask how much they charged and the time it took you and what did you get, quals wise?
