Hi working on a Farm/Stable..
Doing a PIR on the holiday let/Workers Digs..
Went to the Intake as iv got about 4+ boards to test.
Phoned the DNO they said hes got polyphase but said they didnt think it was PME.
The Supply comes from the pole and is clipped direct to his house and ends up in this switch room..
The spiders nest of cables are swa running off to feed other parts of the farm..

The 3 boxes in the first picture are Line/Line/Netural.
1 phase feeds the main house and out buildings and the other does Eco 7 galour lol
Highest Zs reading iv had is 0.32
Any idea's gents please without the trolling..
Many thanks Moo.. Oh and i cant get into look into the dark gray box ands it kills the power for the whole place..

I've not had a massive study of the pics, but it could eaily be TN-S delivered to site. I've had that this week on a new supply out in the sticks - 3 wires to the pole = 2 line + 1 neutral = 2 x 16mm concentric cables from the transformer = 2 lines and a combined neutral acting as the PEN = TNS. Western Power refer to it as SNE.

It would also explain why you've got readings too high for TNCS, and you've only got TT left as your other option!!

I know it matters for the paperwork, obviously, but if you've got pretty good low readings already then it shouldn't make that much of a practical difference to sorting the rest of the mess out! You may even discover the answer in the cobwebs.

From what I could see in the cobwebbed pictures, it cooks like an earth conductor and a tail are connected in the same henly block.
The one with an earth sticker on.
I'd imagine that the tail is a neutral, and that the earthing sytem is TN-C-S.

I can’t work out what the hell is going on here. There are two incoming ducts. It looks like 2 phases + E in one and 1 phase and neutral + E in the other. The two earths are linked. The service head is 2 phase and neutral so where does the 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] phase go?
It’s a good job there’s a couple of lucky horseshoes in the picture, that lot needs it! I’ve not seen Ottermill switches for years (right-hand one).

BTW they are Lucy service cut-outs

The cobweb part of the install is where its fed around the farm, Mr giles to the 2xSWA in himself and thats the bodge they ve done to fed both SWA's.
The other Phase they are using for Eco 7 only(I say only iv seen atleast 15+ of them) and theres alot more hes saying...
2 Phases and Netural with a green and yellow coming from there.. its in pic 1 i think..
I cant do Ze but iv done Zs and the highest is 0.32 so i think its TNCS.. It seems that no 1 knows tho :S

RUN
Whatever it is, sounds like the customer doesnt want to dollar and thats what it will take to sort that mess out. Can of worms, it'll be your fault for opening it as well.
