Discuss Anyone used these - they seem a bit cheap! in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

I've installed the cabinet lights before, had a problem the pin connector being loose on one of them. Seem cheap and tacky to me but those were from a shed sullpied by customer.

Simple basic, priced about right, lamps a bit costly for what they are but should be bright (if they work).
I would tend to go for the 5W even though they have a smaller spread it is still wide.
I never think the under cupboard lights are bright enough; at 1.2W they will provide light but not illumination!
The downlights are not so easy to wire up, but you get what you pay for.
At least if the customer buys/specifies them you are not responsible for failures.

Under unit lights I would suggest led strips. Got those in my own kitchen on a remote control. Change the colours, set them on disco or tranquil mode, great for parties and xmas etc.

Hope the tiler was good at his job? These lights show up every feathering on every tile.
