Hi I have 2 questions with reagards routes to becoming UK qualified electrician I'm hoping you can help with

1) What's the difference between electricians mate and improver and when are you qualified for this role. is it after Level 2 or level 3 qualifications ?

2) If you are doing C and G 5357 electrical apprenticeship and are made redundant in 4th year but cannot find new employer can the theory units be used from level 3 to qualify via another route - i.e take portfolio and AM2 privately (i.e not as an apprentice). I had heard that the theory components might not be transferrable.

Thanks in advance
