Has anyone done their advanced competence assessment to regrade to approved?I'm doing it in July and what's involved.thanks.

yes done this in feb . take it its it cambuslang???? its ok first thing you do is safe isolation to booths (remember lock off, sign up and keep key) after this, testing just the usual tests although when doing the ze you have to put up insulation barriers across board ( something id never seen or done) . after testing i think it was fault finding 10 faults to find . you will also need to fill in risk assessments along the way ( dangers involved in the job and how best your going to reduce they risks. . you have two papers to fill in one an operative questionaire with a yes /no tick box 20 questions then questionaire on everything from building standards to on site guide. they supply like 8 folders to find the answers. found this a push so all time needed. in at 8am out say back of 2 . try to relax the lads are really friendly there to .

When did the assesment come in I have 2319-01 & 3291-02 theory as well as usual trade papers do i still need to do assesment.

The assessment has been on the go now for at least six years mate.
