Hi i have an aqualisa digital standard shower at home which has stopped working ... it seems as tho the buttons on the front on/off and boost have stopped working /become stuck .. these buttons are fed off the processor unit with a 6 core data cable with red-white-blue-black-green-yellow cores ....i am hoping to bypass the switches by adding my own ....so need an internal wiring diag or does anybody know what colours do what ????

any help greatly appreciated

Hi green000, can you give us some incite to your experience and electrical level as you haven't filled your profile in and it will help us to ensure your thread is in the correct section and members can also tailor there answers to your level.

On the face value of what your trying to do though I don't think we can advise or encourage the alterations to a shower unit due to the obvious inherent safety concerns related to what you wish to achieve, not only is it possible the touch pad or buttons are not N/O N/C action but an edge trigger with digital or analogue signal but also the IP rating of any adaptions would require jet proof for the duration of their service.

In a nutshell - my advice is do not attempt to adapt this unit and contact the manufacturers about replacing the actual faulty parts.

How you have diagnosed whether its the controls and not the cable or the digital processor which is at fault here, would also be of interest?

Assume you mean one of these?

Pumped (Gravity With Integral Pump) Control | Aqualisa Shower Parts

If the buttons are actually physically stuck, try soaking the front with limescale remover, which should free them up.
