Hi

I have just recently purchased a second hand Arbortech As 160. The machine looks in very good condition. However on tryint to use it to cut channels in bricks for wiring it seems to be slow, and not as fast as shown in the videos that are available on you tube etc where it seems to go through mortar or bricks like butter.

Have I been naive to purchase this or could it be the blades are worn, it so how do you know? It has the larger rounded blade for bricks and not the smaller longer blades for mortar.

I also use a wall chaser but this can be too dusty at times in people's home to be comfortable to use.

What I am interested in is - What is the best way to chase walls - Solid Hard BRICKS and is the Arbortech As 160 any good (as i am not impressed by it so far

Thanks for your replies.
