are fan isolators mandatory?????

Just been to a dog of a house,
noticed 2 bathroom fans without isolators, installation is 8 years old & rough as a bears botty!
can't see anything in the regs reagarding isolators or do I need glasses!

I know what you are saying, but i think i would be a bit ****ed off if i had to pay 50% tax, regardless!!!

I can't imagine the Inland Revenue telling us paupers that they will be getting most of the 50%
tax back in the form of expenses though
